Hey Friends,
For this Thursday edition, we’re switching things up — and we want your input!
We’re officially crowdsourcing the Shore’s best eats, straight from the people who know them best… you.
We’ll kick things off with one of our favorite food categories: SUSHI 🍣🥢
We also want to caveat this with - we LOVE sushi. We are not in it for the trendiness of the interior, but for truly great quality food. With that being said, here are our top picks: (oh, and side note; each of them are a BYOB)🍶🍶
One of our go-to Shore spots is Yumi (with locations in Sea Bright and Red Bank). We went to Sea Bright the other day and it is one of our faves… Once you sit down and start ordering… wow oh wow. Beautiful, creative, and absolutely scrumptious dishes that feel just as special as they taste always leaving us with “can we order just one more”?
Another favorite of ours is Fumiyama in Eatontown. From the outside, it looks like a simple takeout spot with just a few tables — but once you get a taste of Chef Mikes “Mike Roll” you’re instantly transported. We love Chef Mike for his innovative dishes and a special shout-out to our favorite server, Sky! Try their Omakase tasting!!!
Last month, we had the delightful experience of checking out Xina. If you're a fan of creativity, their rolls are a must-try! They've expanded to two spots now—Toms River and Bradley Beach. And don't worry if sushi isn't your top pick; there are lots of other tasty options to enjoy, even if your friends are dragging you along!
