🌊 This Weekend Down The Shore: July 5-July 7

🇺🇸 FOURTH FESTIVITES 

Thursday - Are the Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Fireworks in Point Pleasant from 9:30 to 9:45pm. Enjoy a night at the boardwalk and kick back on the beach to enjoy one of the longest running fireworks display along the shore.

Thursday - At the Jersey Shore Blue Claws they’re having a July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza. Join the BlueClaws for their game against Wilmington Nationals capped off by a awesome post-game fireworks show! This will be the biggest fireworks show of the year.

Friday - At the Municipal Beach are the Sea Bright Fireworks starting at Dusk. There’s not much information other than that but head down the beach and secure your spot for the best view!

Saturday - Is Belmar’s 3rd Annual Independence Day Show and Fireworks outside of Taylor Pavilion. There will be a concert beginning at 8:30pm, followed by a mesmerizing computerized light show and spectacular fireworks!

Saturday - is Ocean Grove’s Independence Day Concert and Parade starting at 10:30am. This is a rain or shine event.

🌸 FAIRS & MARKETS

Friday - Pier Village Hosts the High Tide Makers + Artisan Market from 11am-6pm. The open – air Market offering unique creations from local makers and artisans on the Carousel Promenade.

Friday - at the Jereimiah E. Hourihan Field starting at 1pm the Matawan Farmers Market kicks off. This weekly event promises to be an unforgettable gathering for lovers of farmers markets supporters of small businesses and devotees of local craftsmanship and community groups.

Saturday - Every first Saturday of the month, Riley Park in Bradley Beach transforms into the bustling pop-up Bradley Beach Main Street Market from 10am to 2pm, featuring local artisans and businesses displaying their handmade goods, culinary provisions, and providing activities for the whole family.

Saturday - Is the Highlands 30th Annual Farmers Market at Huddy Park from 8:30am to 2pm. This event continues through the summer every Saturday. The market will also feature specialty items such as homemade breads and pies, meat breads, ravioli, cheese, eggs, honey, handmade soaps and skin care product, fresh juice, and more.

 Sunday - Is the Point Pleasant Farmers Market from 8:30am-12:30pm in the train station parking lot. This is a weekly event on Sundays that continues through the summer where you can indulge in all the best local food and vendors the shore has to offer.

🥳 FOR FUN

Tuesday to Saturday - Is the Atlantic Highlands Fireman’s Fair from 6-10pm each day. The 5-day fair features a midway with exciting carnival rides for all ages, live entertainment, plenty of great food and treats, carnival games & prizes, and fun for the entire family! Friday night features a spectacular fireworks display at around 9:45pm.

Thursday - Is the Brick Township’s Summerfest featuring live music from Super Trans Am from 6:30 to 9:30pm. The concert will be followed by a 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. Enjoy energetic rock anthems, a food court with various offerings, and a beer and wine garden.

Thursday - Is Oceanfest happening in Long Branch from 1 to 10pm. This is an all-day, family friendly festival. Oceanfest combines the best parts of everyone’s favorite summertime memory — and caps it all off with a spectacular fireworks display.

Friday - Is Nine Deez Night at Proving Ground from 6-10pm. They play all of your favorite hits from the 90s, with 90s Dance Parties in-between Sets, 90s Trivia at Every Single Show, 90s Memorabilia as Prizes, and Play 90s Video Games at the Nine Deeez Arcade.

Friday - At the Mathis House in Toms River, They hosting a Lobster and All That Jazz Outdoor Event from 6 to 9pm. This outdoor event will feature a seafood feast prepared by Chef Bill Ball, with clams, steamers, shrimp, lobster, and all the fixings. Enjoy outdoor games and a visit to Huddy Park’s brewery and distillery, then dance to live jazz by Recked for Jazz at 6pm. The lobster dinner will be served at 6:30pm.

Saturday - In downtown Red Bank is Red Bank StreetLife from 6 to 9pm. Local musicians will perform at different locations throughout downtown Red Bank. Look for them on Monmouth Street by Dublin House, Broad Street by Beijing, Riverside Gardens Park, and on the Red Bank BroadWalk!

Sunday - At Monmouth Park from 11am to 5pm is the Classic Car Show & Oldies Day. Bring the whole family for a unique experience with 120 antique cars and old-school entertainment. Meet Big Joe Henry as he broadcasts his NJ 101.5 FM show live and enjoy a concert from New Jersey's favorite oldies group, The Cameos, from 12-3 pm. It’s a nostalgic event you won’t want to miss!

👀 NEW EXPERIENCES

Thursday - Out of the Atlantic Highlands or Belford Seastreak Ports is the NYC 4TH of July Fireworks Cruise. Shortly before sunset, cruise to the Hudson River to watch the show on our open air top deck, and then check out your favorite Manhattan sites aglow in the city lights.

Thursday to Saturday - The Asbury Hotel hosts Movies On The Roof almost every weekend in the summer. This week’s lineup includes Legally Blonde 2 on Thursday, Jaws on Friday, and National Treasure on Saturday. Seating is first come, first served; bring your own chairs and blankets for extra comfort. Doors open at 8:00 PM, films start at sundown.

Friday - Out of Atlantic Highlands is the Navesink Queen Fireworks Cruise from 7:30 to 10:30pm featuring live music from "Johnny Moon". Enjoy views of the Shrewsbury River, Highlands, Sea Bright, and the historic Twin Lights. Cruise to Sandy Hook Lighthouse, Historic Fort Hancock, and Officers Row, and then return for the best fireworks display in the area.

Friday - 6 pm at Soule' Studio in Point Pleasant is a Pasta Making Class featuring Sausage and Ricotta Filled Ravioli with Vodka Cream Sauce. Everyone will learn to make their own pasta and create a delicious dish. Bring a friend and BYOB for a fun and delicious evening of cooking.

Friday to Sunday - The Jersey Shore Film Festival continues all three days. Showings are scattered across Monmouth’s Shore so be sure to check the link. The JSFF provides unparalleled entertainment at the Jersey Shore, with upscale food, decor, dancing, and mingling with prominent actors and filmmakers.

Sunday - 3pm at 3BR Distillery in Keyport they’re hosting a DIY Gin Class. Create a unique blend of botanicals for your own bottle of gin. Enjoy a welcome cocktail as you sip and distill. Name your gin and design the label with the crew. Then take home a 375ml bottle of your gin to enjoy as you please!
