Looks like the sun is taking a well deserved nap today. Rest assured (pun intended) it’s shaping up to be another beautiful weekend down the shore šŸ™Œ 

There are some really great events lined up — a bunch of new fairs and markets, multiple food truck festivals, restaurant and brewery anniversary parties, and a very large Irish Festival.

That’s just a small sample of what’s available to you. For all the new joiners in the crowd, the full list of events and live music is available via the very large green button at the bottom of the email.

🌸 FAIRS & MARKETS

Thursday - Broadwalk Fresh is kicking off their first week on Broad Street in Red Bank from 5 to 9pm which continues every Thursday through the summer. This is a farmers and makers market event.

Thursday - Is the start of the West End Farmers Market in Long Branch from 9am to 2pm and continues through the summer. They’ll have fresh local produce and locally crafted food items such as Jersey Fresh organic locally grown produce, flowers, jams, baked goods, cheeses, salsas, soups and more.

Friday - at the Jereimiah E. Hourihan Field starting at 1pm the Matawan Farmers Market kicks off. This weekly event promises to be an unforgettable gathering for lovers of farmers markets supporters of small businesses and devotees of local craftsmanship and community groups.

Saturday - Art On The Porch is happening in Ocean Grove from 11am to 4pm. This is a free, town-wide, walkable gallery of visual art by local artists, utilizing Ocean Grove’s charmed front porches as the gallery walls.

Saturday - St. George’s-by-the-River Church in Rumson presents it’s 76th Annual Canterbury Fair from 9:30am to 3pm. Featuring what is arguably the best ā€œWhite Elephant Marketplaceā€ sale this side of the river, the fair has something for everyone. This is a family fun event where adults can shop for plants, jewelry, electronics and more. There will be food for all tastes from baked goods and tea to burgers and fries.

Saturday and Sunday - Allaire State Park is hosting their Monthly Flea Market. This is their first ever two day flea market event so there’s sure to be treasures for everyone. The Allaire Bakery, a Food Truck and convenient ATM will be at the event! All proceeds benefit the Historic Village at Allaire.

 

🄳 FOR FUN

All Weekend - Starting on Friday at 5pm AsburyFest kicks off for a full weekend event. This three day event features some of the best festival food around, dashses of music, and a pinch of surprises. This is a three-day culinary event you don’t want to miss.

Saturday - At Veterans Memorial Park in Keyport is the Aberdeen Food Truck and Music FEAStival from 11am to 7pm. This has something for all ages. 15 Gourmet Food Trucks, live music, beer, margarita & sangria garden, pony rides, petting zoo, miniature golf, bounce house, slide, knockerball, bungee trampoline, face painting, sand art, vendors and bungee trampoline!

Saturday - Celebrate Fair Haven Day from 4 to 9pm. This event includes live musical performances, a host of food trucks, and a fireworks show to finish off the night!

Saturday - The Point Pleasant Beach Battle of the Bands returns from 5 to 10pm to the corner of Arnold and Baltimore Avenues in Point Pleasant Beach. Attendees are encouraged to bring a beach towel or folding chair. Find a spot on the large, lush grassy area in front of the Bandshell, with beautiful views of Little Silver Lake. The event is a family-friendly show.

Saturday - Is Bradley Brew Project’s 6th Year Anniversary Party, all day from 1 to 9pm. There will be a party in the taproom with live music and all the beer you can imagine.

Saturday - Is Nip n Tuck’s 60th Anniversary Party from 3 to 10pm in Long Branch. There will be live music, a free hot dog cookout, 75 cent pints to match prices in the 60’s, games, and giveaways!

Sunday - The 52nd New Jersey Irish Festival is happening at Monmouth Race Track from 10am to 6pm. It’s an exciting day of live racing, Irish foods, vendors, dancing, music, and more. Plus there’s a Human Horse Race that takes place on the track as well.

ā¤ļø FOR A CAUSE

Thursday - The Asbury Park Museum Benefit Concert is happening at the Berkeley Hotel starting at 7pm. All proceeds will benefit the Asbury Park Museum.

Thursday - The annual Cheers to Summer fundraiser is back with an evening of cocktails, dinner and sleuthing as they present a Murder Mystery Speakeasy at the Molly Pitcher Inn at 6pm. Enjoy suspense and intrigue as a crime drama unfolds around you.

Saturday - In Brielle, is the annual Brielle PBA Local 395 Annual Food Truck Festival from 12 to 5pm. It will be held at Green Acres Park with 5 different food truck options and entertainment by Wallnutz band and Prol Entertainment.

Sunday - Jack’s by The Tracks in Belmar is hosting a Circle of Friends Cafe Fundraiser from 1 to 4pm. The afternoon will feature music by Danny White, happy hour specials and buffet with donations benefiting the Circle of Friends Cafe.

Sunday - At Bar A, is the 8th Annual Cookout & Cocktails for Kitties. This "fun-raiser" supports All Fur Love Animal Rescue and helps save the lives of countless kitties. The event is held in a private area of Bar A, complete with our own private cash bar, sand and comfortable seating, as well as delicious food on the buffet.

šŸ‘€ NEW EXPERIENCES

Thursday - Keyport Woofstock is happening on West Front Street in Keyport from 5 to 8pm. You’ll have the chance to dine, shop, and stroll with your canine companion. There will also be live music, dog contests, a street market, rescue adoptions and live music! .

Thursday - is the Baseline Social Beer Dinner Featuring Birdsmouth Beer. The event is from 6:30 to 10pm. You’ll have a tour of the Brewery with owner Andy Goia then slide over to Baseline Social for an intimate, mezzanine dining experience featuring a five course pairing curated by Chef Marco Delgado!

Friday - at Destination Asbury Boutique they’re hosting a Boozy Brushes-Shop, Sip & Paint Beach Bags event from 7 to 9pm. This is a sip and paint event where you leave with a unique beach bag that you painted yourself, perfect for carrying all your summer essentials!

Saturday - Is Latin Night at 21A on Broadway in Long Branch from 10pm to 1:30am. Ladies are free until 11pm. It’s going to be a night full of salsa, merengue, and bachata in the beautiful, upscale setting of 21A on Broadway.

Saturday - At Riley Park in Bradley Beach they’re hosting a Picnic & Movie Night. The Picnic set up starts at 7pm and the movie kicks-off at 8:30pm. You’ll have the option to pre-register for food via their website with 4 different local restaurants to choose from.

Saturday - Learn Line Dancing is back at Allaire Community Park in Wall from 6:30 to 9pm. You’ll hit the dance floor no problem with the dancemuar crew that will having you dancing in no time! This event will have snacks and refreshments for purchase and plenty of room to dance the night away.

Sunday - Boozy Brushes is hosting at Birdsmouth Beer in Oceanport for their Sip & Paint Beer Mugs Event. The event takes place from 1 to 3pm and pre-registration is required. So grab a beer, pick up a brush, and let your creativity flow as you paint your very own beer mug!

Sunday - Teal Cruises is setting sail out of Atlantic Highlands Marina for the David Burke Goat Boat Supper Club at Sea from 6-9pm. This is a 3 Hour Cruise with Chef David Burke that includes a 3-Course Dinner, Welcome Glass of Champagne or Wine, and Meet n’ Greet and Photo Ops. Tickets are $150 Per Person.
